History Reminder

Anybody remember that 2006 game at Auburn? I do. I was there. Not a single offensive touchdown scored. Remind you of current events? My prediction is that Urban Meyer just had a wake up call. He's not stupid. He sees what we see. Expect some changes soon. And an SEC title this season.

I hope you're right. I have no idea what kind of changes to expect. We can't grow a bruising running back in a test tube for this week. We can't put suction cups on our receivers' hands. We can't make Chas kick field goals from 90 yards out when we get halted on 3rd down. We can't jam 5 sumo wrestlers into the box to stop this week's SEC leading rusher. We can't erase "dive play" from the playbook and write in "throw the effin' ball". What kind of changes are we to expect?

I was hoping you had heard something I haven't. I dunno, maybe I thought you sat next to the waterboy on the plane back from Tuscaloosa.

well we had percy that yr and leak and tebow who are alot faster then brantley and i thought leak was slow lol

defense was alot better too in 06

this shows we should only recruit dual threat QB's from now on or atleast QB's with leak type speed

most of all i think we just need a new OC if we cant make playmakers out of our recruiting classes thats a problem

oregon has it figured out they know they need a fast QB to run their offense

Here's another past from the past. After that Bama back in 2005, Meyer and his coaching staff stayed up in the Meyer house until 3 or 4 to fix the offense. THough I hope the meeting this year will end earlier for health reasons.

I was there also, however that Auburn Team was not this Alabama Team if the coaches don't figure out that Brantley needs to throw DOWNFIELD!!! and not try to run a spread I don't see any change in a another meeting with Alabama
