Gators fall from Top 25

Even after beating the 'dores.........

Florida fell out of the Associated Press Top 25 men's basketball poll Monday afternoon.

Florida had its 10-game winning streak with a 70-69 loss to South Carolina at the buzzer Wednesday, but regrouped to beat Vanderbilt 94-69 in a nationally televised game. Florida made a school-record 12 3-pointers in the first half.
Florida also remained outside the ESPN/USA Today coaches poll. The Gators received 59 votes, the most for a team outside the Top 25.

i can really care less about now being ranked its all about making it to march madness and showing up there. but what angers me is once they got into top 25 they choked, but they shouldnt be overlooked there top 3 in the sec and teams like georgetown 12-6 and villanova with 4 losses are somehow ranked when florida only has 3 losses. i mean favoritism to the max.

I dont blame us not being ranked.. our two toughest teams we played, we lost to...

all of our wins are not even close to be ranked in the top 25..

After the South Carolina loss it seems as though a ranking for this year's team is a jinx.

I'm glad we beat Vandy in spite of our falling from the rankings; I hope this big win is enough to motivate these guys to get an invite back to the Big Dance in March.

Then we should all be rooting for the huskies to keep winning. They are the only team that we have beaten that has an RPI better than us. I admit it's still early but those things count for seeding as well as just getting there.

I disagree that we lost to the two toughest teams we faced. I think Arkansas has been the best team we've faced all year long. At the time of the game, many people were wandering why the Hogs weren't ranked, especially after beating a pair of top ten teams.

The only reason i joined this website was to rip on the gators so i'm gonna go ahead and say right now that the gators never deserved to be in the top 25 because they lost to FSU in b-ball and i'm not sure what FSU is even randked if they are which makes that an even worse loss because when your ranked your supposed to beat unranked teams so i'm not sure if something is wrong with all your heads right now you lost to ole miss in football who was unranked you lose to USC and FSU in b-ball who are also unranked you florida gator fans must be really dissapointed in your sucky gators......!!!!!!!!!!!!!
