Florida vs. Georgia

No one wants to beat Georgia any more than i do. Last year's beating was not a good thing. I do NOT believe it will happen this year as we have a more versatile team. Our "D" is built up and according to Meyer, the "most improved aspect of the team."

With that said, will we be seeing a close score or a run away? Remember, Georgia also has a better team this year!

Georgia is easily one of the top 5 teams in the nation this year. So are we. But, we both have to go through the brutal SEC schedule. And we both have some tough OOC games. Both teams should have schedules ranked in the top 5 or so in the nation as far as toughest schedules. The Cocktail Party should be insane this year with a ton riding on the line. I see it being a battle with UF pulling away near the end for a 10-14 point win.

It'll be a good game. Wish I could make it to that one. There will probably be some brawls in the stands too. I will see what strings I can pull to get a ticket!

I hope we hang 50 on them like Spurrier did between the hedges. Man Id love to see that!

I like to see both team undefeated before the game with the Gators winning. :bananajump:

FL has a knack for pulling out a win, although most are close (except the 2006 BCS, LOL), so I would have to say this game is going to be a nail biter til the end. Anyone want to put up what they think the score will be?

I will say: 21 - 28 Gators

42-30 UGA, just a hunch!

UGA lost their stud FB Sutherland (I think thats his name). If he's not bad by the time we play them, the dawgs won't be able to run the ball as effectively. It was their run game last year that killed us and kept Tebow off the field.

31 - 21, Florida.

I'm looking forward to this game more than any other this season.

And who lost to Tennessee like 35-14 on the road and even worse South Carolina 16-12 AT HOME!
I don't think UGA stands a chance at beating UF this season. Ya know if we beat UGA and LSU, the only other game i see as a problem is at Tennessee. But we'll probably beat them anyway

Saying they don't stand a chance is kind of ridiculous. It will be close (within 10 pts.)

I suppose I will put my 2 cents in. Florida and Georgia may be as close to being equal in many ways this year. However, with that said, i will say this. We have the better, more diversified QB. We have probably the best in Percy Harvin. And with an improved offense and added protection in the defense...I give Florida the edge. We win by at least 2 TD's.

I have a feeling that UGA's early season schedule will affect our game with them. It is tough! Our's isn't soft, but they have some tough games before us. That could be a key to our game with them.
We will be better. I'm confident that Urban will have our guys ready and we will win. But, barring some major injuries on either side, I think we win by about 10.
Go Gators!!!!

Urban and the entire Gator Nation will remember what UGA did to us last year. No way it happens again.

That will be first and foremost on the minds of our players come October - it'll be trench warfare this year. Trust me, Coach Meyer will make sure our players won't forget that game.
