2008 Football Schedule

Miami is definitely the most important game we play in 2008, because:

1) Unlike FSU, Tenn, LSU, and UGA, MIAMI IS NOT AN ANNUAL RIVAL. Unless
we meet them in a bowl (highly unlikely), we won't play Miami again until 2013 I hope urban tells these guys that they will only get one chance to beat the canes.

2)our losing streak. We have dropped SIX straight to miami. The last time we beat Miami in football was 1985. To give u an idea how long ago that was, we lost to Kentucky in football that year and Randy Shannon was a freshman at miami. Since 1985, we've beaten UK 21 in a row and Vandy 17 in a row, but we haven't been able to beat miami.

Because of this, I hope we absolutely crush miami

time to plan my trips down south...im gonna try and be at the miami game, if its the last thing i do

I don't know how tough Hawaii really is. I mean they barely beat Lousianna Monroe with Colt Brennan at the helm (it might have even went to overtime). LSU beat them 52-10. The went 12-0 but played weak and overrated teams like Washington was probably the best team and they weren't really that good. We'll see how well they do against UGA in the bowl. I think the Dawgs will crush them badly, like we did to OSU in the NC last year.

Schedule looks good, there is no obvious weak teams, except Citadel and Miami is floundering in mediocrity along with FSU. But they get good athletes every year so they can cause problems.

If our D can play consistent this year, and hopefully we get some new recruits in on the DL. We need a big nose tackle type player to stuff the runs and tie up blockers so our DE's can rush the QB. We didn't get much pressure against LSU, UGA, and Auburn.

Wow - great schedule... Tebow v those dumb Canes. I love it... Hawaii at home - please. we will be victorious.

how lucky do we get to play hawaii and miami the first two games,this is going to show why we are going to be national champs next year.

Can't wait for the new season already. The schedule doesn't look too bad, we beat LSU, UG, Hawaii and Miami hopefully we should go to SEC championship and possibly NC.

Hopefully NASN will show some live games this season. They didn't show one live game this season and they're only showing the 2nd half of the bowl game! :mad0235:

I cant wait till UF vs UH next year! for two reasons:
1. first game of the season
2. so i can rub in my friends face when we smash them (he's a huge UH fan)



and that has to be the toughest schedule of anyone next year

couple of tough games

I think there are a couple of teams on the schedule that are going to be tough but doable for the gators. They will prevail!

Yeah the only "good teams" we play next season are LSU and UGA. We will most likely beat Hawaii, Miami, Tenn, Ole Miss, Arkansas, UK,Vandy, South Carolina, Citadel, and FSU. I like the fact that we have alot of home games next season too. I wish the season could start now!

We should kill the canes cause they didn't make it to a bowl this past season and they really stink to lose to like 7 games in one season

I know! Can't wait! I wish the seaon started right now!

If our secondary doesnt sure up then Hawaii's WR's will torch us. But UGA will be a Preseason top 5 team with Moreno and Stafford. LSU will be better since they lose alot abnd its at home. Miami is fallen off the map. Im just glad to see tht we get a break from Auburn and Arkansas will lose McFadden to the NFL so we are sitting pretty.

Yeah Miami has fallen so badly this past season they can't get back up so we will kill them and Arkansas will be and easy one without McFadden, FSU and Bowden better start praticing their FG kicking skills cause if they aint any better this yr, my grandma is coming down there to apply as their kicker.
