someone tell me please!!

Ok as everyone knows if you read my thread in the introduce yourself part, then you know I'm from virginia, My ultimate dream is to visit the SWAMP, no matter who they play I wanna go!!!! I think I have a good idea, But those of you that has actually been there, can you please tell me what it's like? After seeing it on TV and how wild those fans are, my heart is telling me to move to gainsville LOL, thank you for taking time to read this

Last weekend I felt a need to go into the stadium and sit in the lower level and just absorb the past memories. I have been to several stadiums and rate the Swamp as the best to view games, the loudest and our fans tailgate with the best of them. (The worst place I have ever watched a game is the Superdome and will never ever pay for a ticket there again, terrible sight lines and to wide open, Bourbon street is much more fun) Back to the Swamp, if you want to enjoy college football then you have to attend a game or two or three here. I have it fortunate in that I live about 2 miles from the stadium thus allowing me to enjoy the fun all the time!

Gainesville has the best atmosphere on game days. Tailgating, shopping, talking with other cool fans, The Gator walk, the bars and when you do get in the stadium it is def. one of a kind. You should def. come down to a game you will love every minute of it. The place goes crazy for the Gators! Go Gators!!!!!!

One things for sure, if you plan on visiting the Swamp, you better get tix in the student section.

Ohhhhhhhh mylanta, I'm gonna have to come down there, I mean I feel like my gator love just aint complete with actually seein those boys run through that tunnel "live", I promiss you when they play I am on the edge of my seat that whole game pretending I was there LOL, but thank you so much for answering my question, my chill bumps, yelling in the house, think my parents wants me to go!!! LOL

Ha yeah I feel your pain here. Ive never gotten down to the swamp for a game I went down for a scrimmage the first year Urb got here but that was just because we were heading down on vacation from Indiana. But Im thinking about getting down there for the FAU idk which game is going to be tougher FAU or FSU? Haha

The best is when you sit in the first row of the North endzone and a couple of the players run to the wall and jump on it and you can pat their backs and hit their helmets to pump em up...

And nothings better then the 2 bits chant at the beginning

I love it when women root for teams because "the colors are pretty". I like your avatar gatorsgirl20 - you are probably a 60 year old truck driver in reality coming in here to get all these old gator fans hot and bothered. Nice touch - "ooooh! My parents are going to be so mad at me! Tee Hee! I am just a cute little gator fan - yes I am!" Go Gators! Yeah! I love the colors! Yeah!

If you ever do make it down to the swamp - please notice the smell of sulfur in the air from all the paper mills. You get used to it after a while. Be sure and wear your jean shorts.
