Man it's a bad year for UF Wide Receivers (well bad year in general). RIP Aubrey Hill
Yes. “TOUGH year”.
Having (as a kid) lost my mom to it, and in fact (not to make a big deal about it) having weathered my OWN bout with it, and radical radiation and chemo this past year myself (currently, fortunately now seemingly in recovery), I send my deepest condolences out to his family—and though FAR from the main issue here, pardon me if I were placing an awful lot of hope and expectation of our indeed HAVING a season in 2020!...
And I truly thought we were potentially building towards what, with our original projected schedule and roster, with a real chance at surprising EVERYONE ELSE OUT THERE this year: I really thought we had a shot at a Natty!
Now, even if we DO play it through, and successfully, it’ll come with a proverbial asterisk, for SURE. Oh well—we’ll take it—GLADLY SO—as what amounts to be the “cherry on the Sundae”, in addition to just HAVING A SEASON, as it turns out now from here. What little “consolation”/“competition in a bubble” has been provided from OTHER sports in the meantime has been mainly a let down so far from MY POV!
