I posted a new thread on the <a href="http://gatorenvy.com/forums/index.php">Gator Envy Forums</a> about finding a place in the <a href="http://gatorenvy.com/forums/showthread.php?goto=newpost&t=13129">starting lineup for Patric Young</a>. If Kenny Kadji comes back healthy, Young will have to compete with for him and Chandler Parsons for playing time. The Gators already have Macklin and Alex Tyus solidified in the starting lineup. So who is Patric Young? He's a five star recruit out of Jacksonville, Florida. 6'8" 220 lbs and is listed as a Center, though he'll be more of a PF at Florida.
So we're trying to figure out if he is good enough to start as a true Freshman...
Here's what Scout.com had to say about him:

Patric Young was also selected to the USA Basketball Men’s U-18 National Team, a squad comprised of 12 of the nation's top players 18 and under. Young will join the USA squad in its quest for the 2010 FIBA Americas U18 Championship in San Antonio, Texas from June 26-30.
