    Florida native, from over ten generations. I have know nothing but the Gator life. Born in Jacksonville, FL.

    My parents and I, were so proud when my son statred go to U.of F.

    When my father was sick and at the V.A. Hospital in Tampa, he told the orderly his blood was Orange & Blue, so don't think it's the cancer! LOL.
    Then my mother passed, the day before my son graduated. But I am sure they were both with him that day.
    Every game I say Daddy you better make sure your Gators win! He must of been sleeping during the GA game last week.

    Glad and proud to have you join us, Ms. V (and look forward to J. Carson's arrival...though judging by photo is still a couple of seasons off?). Btw, ALL our various forebears (I am 3rd gen. Gator myself, and that is about "mid-range" at best around here) were apparently dosing last Saturday--and that is about as light-hearted as I can get about the whole deal, at this point: We're still hurting, and just starting to pick ourselves up (and each other) to move on now. With and like our team, though, we will not only manage, we will rally and come back STRONG. Thanks to our Head Coach and his staff, this is a tough and disciplined young team composed of individuals who believe in themselves and each other...Though early in its current growth, the program is healthy and headed for greatness once more--you can feel it.
    So welcome to Gator Envy (GE): Hope you'll join us whenever you feel like being around fellow Gators, follow our various discussions, observations, and opinions--and put in YOUR two cents whenever it strikes you to do so. We're here for each other--especially on Saturdays while watching the games, when here at GE it's like being with fellow long-time-season's ticket-holders in a certain section on the Alumni-side of the Swamp--well, not QUITE as good as BEING there, but we do our best. Go Gators!!!
