I need your help PhD Gator. I'm filling my bracket. And right now I'm on Georgia Tech vs. Wisconsin. Who would you take?? Conventional Wisdom says Wisconsin, but I have heard a lot of people say GT can go far. Thanks.

Wow, I'm honored that you have picked me to ask for advice. Honestly though, these brackets are so up in the air, that I hate to give much advice. Your opinion is worth just as much as mine. However, I would say that Wisc-GT would probably be a tight game with a final score of somewhere around 63-58 or something like that. I would say that if they play it 10 times Wisconsin wins 7 to 8 of them with 9 of those 10 games being close and low-scoring. I have Wisconsin going further then GT in most of my brackets, in large part because its not even a guarantee that GT makes it out of the first round. If they go down to UNLV and you had them going all the way to the Sweet 16 or whatever, well then you've just lost a couple of games in some sense. But, you have to pick a couple of teams to go further then most would expect, so if your gut tells you GT can beat UNLV and likely also beat Wisconsin, then go with that. I know that this wasn't much help, but I'm not going to give concrete answers because I know it's pretty likely that I will be wrong. Good luck man!

    Florida, Kansas, Texas A&M, Georgetown

    Florida over Kansas

    Georgetown over Texas A&M

    Florida over Georgetown 70-60.

Ummmm, why you stealing my bracket man? That is my exact final four and my exact championship game. I think our score differs by like a point or 2.

Sorry. I didn't even know. I'm in this huge ESPN bracket with the people that post on the College Basketball Board. And I was going to pick some huge upsets in the Final Four. But then I realized I want to win. So I went back to who I thought would win. I thought Kansas and Florida would win with some ease to get to the Final Four. And I had UNC losing to Texas. But the I was going to have Texas beating Texas A&M, but I remembered how great Acie Law is, so I changed to Texas A&M. And since I hate Ohio State, no way was I going to put them in. And the second best team I saw, and heard a lot of people say can win it all was Georgetown, so I put them through. Of course I put UF to beat Kansas. And I wanted to have Texas A&M over Georgetown, but Georgetown seems stronger to me. In the Championship game, I figure the Gators could win by a lot more, but Georgetown has pretty good defense, but since Hibbert is huge and slow, I figure he won't be able to run with Al and Jo, so of course I think the Gators will win it.:bananapowerslide:

No need to apologize, I was just messing around with you. For whatever reason, that Final Four is pretty popular amongst Gator fans. I've heard several other people say they have the same Final Four. Hopefully it works out well for all of us.

I really don't care, as long as UF is holding the trophy.:bananajump:
