First it was Reggie Bush getting in trouble at USC, and now it's OJ Mayo and their basketball program. OJ Mayo allegedly accepted thousands of dollars in cash and gifts from these street agents. USC could get in a ton of trouble if it's all proven.

Just another hit for college basketball. Why does the NCAA make these guys go to school again?

This type of thing isn't just going on at USC.. it happens everywhere. USC just keeps getting caught. Every athlete on a major DI basketball or football team has probably taken an illegal hand out at some point. That's just the way it is.

I doubt USC gets in trouble. Nothing happened with Reggie Bush and unless something bigger than what's already been said is uncovered, nothing will happen here either.

USC's athletic program faces a difficult challenge with their student athletes with the fact that they are in a professional sport city. Since there is no NFL team, the Trojans kind of take the role as the professional LA football team. That being said, I have always had a feeling that USC's program was not the cleanest. Any other program that is not an ESPN darling would have faced sanctions after the Reggie Bush incident.

They may not get in trouble now, but the NCAA will be watching them like a hawk with all the recent allegations.
