The Florida Gators have eight athletes projected for selection in the NFL draft:
- Jawaan Taylor, offensive tackle. The 6-foot-5, 312-pound lineman might be the only first-round pick for the Gators at this point. I would not be surprised to see him go to the Jacksonville Jaguars at #7.
- Chauncey Gardner-Johnson, safety. The 5-foot-11, 210-pound safety is looking like a solid second-round pick out of Gainesville and is predicted to go late, maybe at No. 58 to the Cowboys or at No. 54 to the Texans (after a trade with Seattle).
- Vosean Joseph, linebacker. The 6-foot-1, 230-pound linebacker is a little undersized, so he is projected to be a third- or fourth-round pick.
- Jachai Polite, defensive end. The 6-foot-3, 258-pound lineman started off as a first round pick before his horrendous Combine and Pro Day outings. Now he is lucky if he gets picked up as a backup or special teams in the seventh round.
- Martez Ivey, offensive guard. The 6-foot-5, 315 pound guard might get selected in the seventh round, but he is looking more like an undrafted free agent.
- Fred Johnson, offensive guard. This 6-foot-7, 326-pounds lineman would be a good steak in round seven, but he will likely go as an undrafted free agent.
- Jordan Scarlett, running back. Scarlett has decent size at 5-foot-11 and 208 pounds, and very good speed with his 4.47-second 40-yard dash at the 2019 NFL combine. Legal troubles will prevent him from being drafted, but he will do will as a an undrafted free agent.
- CeCe Jefferson, defensive end. Jefferson will likely be an undrafted free agent.
