    Hi I'm Jim. I just turned 62, never thought that would happen. I've pretty much been a Gator since I became aware of college football at 12. Sold Cokes in the Swamp. Watched Steve play. It really is GREAT TO BE A FLORIDA GATOR.

    Hey Jim...rough calculations would seem to indicate that like me (Class of '80), you were around for the post-Dickey, early-Charley Pell "oh, 10-and-1" debacle of 1979, had only graduated a few years earlier (early-to-mid-'70s?) when that occurred, am I right? Which means that you have a certain perspective on how bad "BAD" can really turn out to be. Anyway, regardless, welcome to GE, and let's hope the last couple of years of mediocrity are as "bad" as it was going to get this time around, and that we're about to at least BEGIN to turn the corner on all of that this season (the last couple of weeks of regression and stumbling confusion notwithstanding).
