After consecutive SEC road wins, the Florida Gators have moved up in both the AP and USA TODAY Coaches' Top 25 polls.

The Gators are ranked No. 14 in each poll this week.

Previously the Gators were No. 17 in the Coaches' poll and No. 18 in the AP Poll.

Florida is one of five SEC teams in the Top 15 of each poll.

Tennessee was dropped from AP poll. They were not ranked in the Coaches poll a week ago but were ranked No. 22 by the media.

Glad they didn't push us any higher than that...it's unclear WHERE we should be ranked in relation to many of the others. Enough of THEM may be JUST as suspect, but I am only concerned with OUR development at this point--the rankings and our eventual place in them only gain real meaning later on. For now, we have enough weaknesses, problems and hurdles without being over-rated. I'm hoping we are UNDERestimated: it would be better if that were so, and if it were to continue as long as possible. Meanwhile, this early in the season, our schedule and finding out just what kind of team this is, we ARE far enough along to break into the upper rankings if we DO turn out to pull things together and really have something.
