The Southeastern Conference announced their All-SEC team earlier this week. After a 12-1 season and an SEC Championship, it's no surprise that a couple of Gators were added to the list.
Quarterback Tim Tebow was among five Florida players named to the coaches All-SEC first team Tuesday, matching Alabama for most picks. The other Gators: receiver Percy Harvin, offensive lineman Phil Trautwein, linebacker Brandon Spikes and returner Brandon James.
UF players on the second team: offensive lineman Mike Pouncey, safety Ahmad Black, cornerback Joe Haden and punter Chas Henry.
In individual player news, Tim Tebow was voted the SEC's Offensive Player of the Year and Brandon James was voted the league's Special Teams Player of the Year. Tebow (with a 3.7 gpa) was also selected as the league's scholar-athlete of the year.
Congratulations to all Florida Gators!
