Uh, considering our situation at WR last season and heading into '14, this kid has got to be some combination of slow, mediocre, fearful, and/or stupid: Maybe he knows he can't face the competition at safety, but a well-regarded receiver who's already put in his redshirt-time, about to get at the very least a wide-open shot at a spot in a brand new, free-wheeling offense in a big time program that's SEARCHING for fresh-faced players to break out at his position, bolts to start all over somewhere else? I figure we just learned something about his character that might well have precluded his recruitment in the first place, had it come out earlier--though all to often these days (at every program) stats, buzz, and ratings-services play the largest part in who gets offered. Maybe there're some things happenin' in the background here that we're not hearing about, but it sure sounds like "good riddance".
