    I'm going to be going to my very first Florida football game this year in TN. I have lower level sideline B tickets which stubhub says is the visitor sideline. I've been doing research on the stadium and some say that the tickets I have are on TN's sideline and others says visitors. Does anyone know which sideline is the visitors sideline and also what should I expect going to this game?

    I don't remember, but be prepared to confront a lot of toothless hillbillies.

    West stands are almost certainly the home teams stands.

    I take that back. The visitors bench is on the west side at Neyland Stadium. Sections W-R and 48

    Can't tell you whose bench you are behind--it's been some years since I went to an away-game there...but I can say this with some confidence: the worst'll be early , when they're all hyped up and full of hope and singing "Rocky Top" ad infinitum...you're gonna hear that song 'til you're completely sick of it for the rest of your life (I STILL am, from that aforementioned visit these many years back!)...but except for the few inevitable hostile loud-mouths with a little too much beer in 'em, it'll all be pretty good-natured--and once we take control of the game, as I believe we will once more (hopefully by halftime, early in the 3rd qtr. the LATEST), it'll be a relaxed good time the rest of the way. If you're NOT in the Gator-traveling section (as I recall, that's down at an endzone-corner on the visitor-sideline side), just remember to shrug and smile understandingly to your Vol-neighbors after you're finished whooping at another Gator TD or take-away...

    @msgatorsfan
    My above post was written back at the start of summer, when things looked to be "shaping up nicely" for us in 2012--certainly nothing on the horizon then to raise concerns about us handling the Vols...However, with all that's happened and what we've seen so far this season, I'd add the caveat that if you AREN'T in the Gator section, you bare in mind the extra "edge" that may well now be added to this crowd's "mentality". There's a lot of latent frustration in the Vols crowd that will be simmering in Neyland on Saturday--and now they've gotten the idea that they'll actually WIN this game--are starting to believe they can win BIG.
    Remember, a large emotionally-charged group of people is NOT the same as individuals alone. Make friends with folks around you, as much as possible, and the "good-natured" part of what I said above goes double: if this turns out to be a tough, closely fought battle, as I feel it will, that could make a lot of difference in your overall experience--especially if we WIN such a game.
    Regardless (but ESPECIALLY if we DO win), get over to the Gator section at (or even a little before) the end of the game and celebrate with the team, band and fellow Gator fans--it'll be fun, of course, and a lot safer--and file out with THEM a little later, once the disappointed crowd thins out. Maybe all of this seems obvious, or maybe silly--but consider it anyway...
    Have a great time, and GO GATORS!!!

    The Vegas odds makers put the Vols as about a 2 to 3 point favorite

    I was reminiscing when James Bates used to do his Volunteer fan imitation when he was on the Sunshine Network. I wish I could find a clip of that. Been a long time.
