This is not an FSU-Florida problem. This is an ACC-SEC problem. If the ACC wants its teams to remain viable in the new playoff system, they need to continue playing SEC teams to boost their credibility. They can keep their powder puff ACC schedule and focus all their energy on beating just one SEC team and an occasionally challenging ACC team. For teams like Florida, South Carolina, Kentucky, and Georgia, they are at a disadvantage compared to Alabama, Arkansas, Auburn, LSU, Missouri and Texas A&M who all play other SEC teams for rival week.

If I were king, I would mandate that each SEC team schedule a Big 12 or ACC team for rivalry week. That would put Alabama, Arkansas, Auburn, LSU, Missouri and Texas A&M on equal footing with the SEC East teams that have to play ACC teams that save up all their effort for one SEC opponent.
