Confidence, a little swagger, these are good things to feel and share quietly among yourselves in the days just before you go on the road against a much-hyped rival--especially one that seems to be floundering a bit finding its identity as a team, and living UP to said "hype" in the season's early going.
On the other hand, mouthing off loudly and maybe helping to GIVE them some kind of temporary substitute for identity is foolish. You want stuff like "a streak" to quietly fester alone and among them, NOT focus on like something maybe they can "together OVERCOME".
Sigh. Once again I get a glimpse of why and how it must be so frustrating to coach TEENAGERS...Ya just wish they could just STFU!!!
