Do you like all the politicin'

The week prior to the announcement of the BCS Bowl bound teams... coaches are always out politicin'. They have to go out their and promote their team in order to 'sway the voters'. Meyer did it last year. Miles did it this year. June Jones is doing it with Colt Brennan and the Heisman.

Since when did college football become a political battle? I wonder how all the college football purists feel about this.

I do not mind if a coach explains reasons why his player should get an award, but I think it is very low class to make comments about other team's players.
