    Well kind of. I am recently married an have never really been much of a College football fan unless deployed (something to talk about besides "work") So my wifes famliy is a huge fan of college sports and more importantly the Gator's. My first gift from the famliy was a stuffed Albert E. Gator for my desk. So am I here to learn how our team works and enjoy the games.

    Can't seem to find a reliable podcast on Gator Football? any recommendations.

    Gator Zone has a decent podcast at http://www.gatorzone.com/podcasts/.

    What do you mean by "deployed"? I am in the military, so when I hear that term I automatically assume Qatar, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Yemen, or Iraq.

    UAE/SA/Columbia/Haiti/Japan......etc. I am a Navy type, so ships, bases, squadron type stuff.

    I think you'll find that "gatorzone" link will become active on game days...there is the audio feed from the Swamp courtesy of RUF on game days, too...as for live streaming video, well, the free ones change from year to year--I'll have a better overview after this Sat., since that'll be the only way to actually SEE the game, ie. some of the gray-area podcast-windows that runs ads over some part of the screen (I'll be trying the ones that were still up and running in these situations towards the end of last season, then poking around, doing my online detective work trying to find the new ones, throughout the game this Sat., and pass on what I find, if/when I do))...of course, if you're willing to PAY for the games that aren't being broadcast (especially for those of us outside the state of Fla.), there are several alternatives.
    Of course, we'll ALSO be here on GE, the hardcore regs, bitchin', moanin' and generally living and dying with our Gators--regardless of whatever access, or lack thereof, we are stuck with or without.

    If you have a Mac or a PC, you can use iTunes to search for the GatorZone podcast. For blogs, just check back here. If I have time, I will blog details on games. The problem is that I travel a lot (sometimes to Qatar) and miss a lot of games.
