After being drafted to play baseball for the Cincinnati Reds, Donald Reche Caldwell played wide receiver for Steve Spurrier's Florida Gators from 1998 to 2001. Reche was Honorable Mention All American, 2nd Team All SEC, and a Fred Biletnikoff finalist. Reche finished his career with 141 receptions, 2088 yards (14.8 avg) and 18 touchdowns while returning 5 punts for 49 yards and completing one pass for 9 yards. Note: Reche did play one season of QB in high school.
