81 more days until Gator football! I have been falling behind due to school, so here are #81, #82, and #83. I could not skip over #82, because he is currently on our coaching staff. Go Gators!

#81 – Dallas Baker, WR (2002-06)
Dallas Leon Baker of New Smyrna Beach, Florida played wideout under Ron Zook from 2002-2006. Interestingly enough, Dallas’ career spans three coaches. He was recruited by Steve Spurrier and signed onto Spurrier’s lastrecruiting class in 2001, but was relegated to a prep school for a year due toNCAA academic eligibility rules. By the time he returned to Gainesville to play football, Ron Zook had taken over the team. Under Urban Meyer, Dallas exploded as a playmaker by doubling his high mark in receptions in a year with 56. Dallas improved his grades enough to regain the year of NCAA eligibility he lost in 2001-2002 and became team captain, where he posted career highs for receptions (60), receiving yards (920), and receiving touchdowns (10) on his way to an All-SEC selection. Dallas helped the mighty Gators return to SEC championship glory by helping them defeat Arkansas in Urban Meyer’s first SEC championship (after a six year drought), and Meyer’s first national championship–this time over Ohio State. Dallas Baker the Touchdown Maker finally made the grade and earned a bachelor’s degree in health and human performance 2006.

#82 – Aubrey Hill, WR (1991-94)

Aubrey Hill, from Miami, Florida, played wideout in Steve Spurrier‘s Fun N’ Gun offense from 1991-1994. He was a pivotal member of three SEC championships under Spurrier. He totaled 86 receptions and 18 touchdowns during his career and caught a touchdown every 4.78 catches, the third bestTD ratio in Gators history. He was a team captain as a senior in 1994. From 1996-1998, Aubrey served as graduate assistant, where he helped coach the team through a 12-1 season, a 1997 Nokia Sugar Bowl win, and first national championship. In December 2010, Will Muschamp brought Aubrey back to the Gator Nation as wide receiver coach and recruiting coordinator.

#83 – Dwayne Dixon, WR (1980-83)

Dwayne Keith Dixon was home-grown in Gainesville, Florida, where he played youth football, high school football, college football (1980-1983 under Charley Pell) before returning to coach as an assistant under Steve Spurrier and Ron Zook from 1994-2004.

As a player, Dwayne was a leading receiver with 589 yards his junior year, 596 his senior year. He was first-team All-SEC as a senior, honorable mention All-American, and recipient of the Gator Fergie Ferguson Award. He was named a Gator Great in 1997 by the UF Athletic Association.
