Gerard Thurston Warren played defensive tackle & defensive end for Steve Spurrier's Florida Gators from 1998 to 2000. He came to the Gators as one of the all time top 100 high school players in the state of Florida. As a junior and team captain, he posted 76 tackles and 4.5 sacks on the way to first team All SEC and second team All American honors. He entered the NFL draft after his junior year and was the #3 pick in 2001. He is famous for doing the Gator Chomp on fellow Gator Tim Tebow in 2011 after sacking the young QB in a playoff game.
