Hang in there! Now that spring practice is over and the NFL Draft is done, we are truly in the doldrums of Gator football news. I will consider it a success if we can survive this off-season without any arrests or other scandals. Right now the only news that we should be worried about is this civil lawsuit between the Rebel Rags and Scott Stricklin/ Dan Mullen. The firing of Otis Yelverton as assistant director of player personnel might of interest on social media, but the hiring of former Gator Charlie Skalaski should help us forget Otis' run-ins with the law. All that is left for the Gators who entered the NFL is rookie mini-camp over the next few weeks. Some of the undrafted free agents have been invited to camp, where they might earn spots on pre-season rosters.
