No. 1 Florida Gators vs. No. 4 LSU Tigers

The No. 1 Florida Gators have their biggest game of the year on Saturday night in Baton Rouge against the No. 4 ranked LSU Tigers. The entire nation will be watching this rivalry game. UF holds a nation’s-best and school-record 14-game winning streak, but LSU hasn’t lost at home in a night game in something like 31 games. It is going to be a clash of titans for sure. All eyes will be on Gator quarterback Tim Tebow (assuming he plays). Can he start and be effective or will he be rusty and hesitant? Can the Gators win without him?

2008 SEC Championship Game Preview

For the 17th time since 1992, the Southeastern Conference will bring together its two division winners to determine the winner of the SEC title. Florida finished 11-1 in the regular season and was the SEC Eastern Division Champion with a 7-1 league mark. I always feel that it’s a disservice to the Florida fans and alumni when they broadcast games on Pay Per View. Not everyone will have tickets for the game or can make the drive to Gainesville to see it.
If you want to watch the Gator game, but don’t …

Gators Send Gamecocks Home With a Black Eye

Whoever set the line (Gators by 22.5) on this game must note have watched Florida’s previous two games. Kentcuky was the best defense in the SEC when the Gators played them 2 weeks ago. The Wildcats ran away with a tail between their legs. Then last week, Vanderbilt supposedly had the best defense in the SEC. The Gators beat them down too. Then today when Steve Spurrier took the field, he brought with him the “best defense in the SEC”. How did those boys perform this evening? They got blown …

Gamecocks vs. No. 4 Gators Preview

Steve Spurrier and the South Carolina Gamecocks are headed back to The Swamp on Saturday, November 15 for a 3:30 kickoff game against Urban Meyer and the Florida Gators. You may remember 2 years ago, the Gamecocks were a blocked field goal away from beating the Gators and ending what turned out to be a National Championship run. Spurrier will come into this game with the same mindset. The upset the Florida Gators on their home turf.
Tim Tebow has been on fire the past month. When he said he would …
