Florida Falls to Tennessee Vols

The Florida Gators lost a heart breaker to Tennessee last night by a score of 60-61. The Gators took a 34-28 lead at halftime but couldn’t finish the game – even when they had the ball last. Tennessee hit the go ahead shot and gave the ball back to Florida with about 14 seconds left. Tyus had a very good look at the basket from like 4 feet away with only 3 seconds left, but he couldn’t make the bank shot.

Chandler Parsons’ Buzzer Beater

The Florida Gators extended their win streak to 3 games this weekend when they notched a 58-56 victory over the South Carolina Gamecocks. The Gators are now 14-5 overall and 3-2 in conference play. This game vs. the Gamecocks was yet again another nail biter for the Gators. Down by 1 point with 5 seconds left on the clock, Erving Walker drove the lane and dished out to Chandler Parsons, who hit a game winning 3 pointer as time expired. It was amazing!

Chandler Parsons Hits Buzzer Beater For The Win!

We haven’t seen a Gator victory in “buzzer beater” fashion in quite some time. In over with about 2 seconds left on the clock, NC State was at the free throw line and missed the shot. Chandler Parsons rebounded the ball took about 2 dribbles and launched a 75 foot shot across the court – he sunk it with nothing but net. It was absolutely amazing… giving the Gators a 62-61 victory. Gators Continue SEC Play

The Florida Gators men’s basketball team faces the University of Georgia tonight in another SEC matchup. This game shouldn’t be that tough. If Florida can go into Vandy and work them silly, then playing Georgia in the O’Dome shouldn’t be a problem.
For the first time all year, the Gators (4-1 SEC) have a height advantage over the Dawgs (0-4 SEC). It’s rare to see the Gators size up with anyone, being that their tallest player is only 6′9″. The Gators have struggled against the boards all season, now is the …
