Not to take anything away from Dunlap, but we have so much depth on D-line. With the Trattou missing 3-4 games earlier, we got some guys with good experience up front. Dunlap seemed to me to be better on pass rush than run and ALA can't move the ball in the air.
Hopefully that's just what he does on the ground.
He seems to get most ramped up for UGA and FSU, so maybe since this is his last Nole scalping he will go furiously crazy and make last years braveheart performance look like the Smurfs.
Seriously? No one thinks that the pants look ridiculous? This is a glorified Under Armour look that makes Nike look bad for changing their schemes. Kinda like when Coke went to "New Coke" in the 80s to keep up with Pepsi...Now we will look like an orange and blue South Carolina.
Except...
We will see what he can do against UT. I didn't think he was all that bad last year. His biggest problem was being the guy that followed the Nelson/Smith tandum from the year before (that is, if you don't count letting Michigan camp in his backyard the entire CapitalOne bowl). But, UT will be...
I don't know what fat Phil will have to bring to Gainesville this year. Certainly not a defense any stronger than it was last year. And with Eric Ainge gone, I don't know that his offense will do much either. 38-10 UF
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! Did you see his face last night when he couldn't get his guys attention and they fouled Shan Foster with 7 seconds left. HAHAHAHA!!! I hope he has that same cry baby look when he comes to town next week.
I agree...and the wife is a Clemson grad, so that's a 10-2 season for Spurrier for me. However...when he took the SC job Clemson folks put out a t-shirt that said something to the effect of "University of South Carolina...Where Legends Go to Die". Below that was tomb stones with the names of...
Two things:
1- If not OSU, would you have rather seen UGA or USC? UGA/LSU wouldn't work as no one will go for an interconference national championship and if you put in USC, you lose the SEC national championship. No doubt USC would have beat LSU this year.
2- Why not OSU against SEC teams...
Don't forget he missed two games with a foot injury. I don't know that he really got back to normal until after VAndy and then all that was left was SC, FAU, and FSU then the bowl game. So, he was under used compared to last year and to what he should have been, but I think its understandable.
I think this is one of the must wins for the tourney. We can lose to UT and maybe even MSU, bit if we beat Kentucky at Rupp, we will be in. Probably even get a higher seed for the SEC tournament. Mr2Bits is right, Rupp will be wild. Almost like having folks come into the Swamp at night.
It would be great to sweep the rest of the season. Really, I just hate Bruce Pearl, so if we can beat TN at home and someone punch him in the face, I will be happy. But, I think we are going to be okay to make the 65. We might get knocked out in the second round by a no name again like we did...
