Jones'ing BADLY This Interseason

Don't know why, exactly, maybe because we've been on such a constant upswing on and off the field, in virtually every area of signs, portents and practical moves and indicators--But I am having my toughest after-season/wait-for-spring ball time in YEARS.
It has gotten so bad that I am actually seriously considering rearranging my work/time off schedule in order to possibly make it to Florida, mostly just to see and get a feel for how our team'll be shaping up by then. Oh, I'm thinking I might be able to get in a little Grapefruit League Baseball touring too, but clearly it'd be 99% about daily practice in G-ville and hopefully the spring game (whatever they are calling it now).
Anyone familiar with this regime's approach to public access vis a vis practices during the week? For years there it was progressively more restricted under the various Coaches (as if "the public" were somehow responsible for their deteriorating performance output). Somehow I get the impression this will be less the case under Coach Mullen--but so far I have little concrete detail in the way of how that will play out in practical terms.
I don't even know if I can make it work, no matter what: It'd require sacrifices professionally on my part (With SXSW, March and just after are hugely important in Austin, especially to those of us connected to music, film etc...), so...
But fact remains, no matter WHAT I learn and/or decide to do about it, this is one year where I just can't WAIT to get "NEXT SEASON" going, THE SOONER THE BETTER.
Y'all feeling similarly?

I just moved back to Texas from California, so I am definitely thinking of making my way to Florida for a game.

Yes! THAT is something I am already considering myself...This "spring trip" would be in addition to that--I'm thinking may bail for the week that includes the "spring game" itself, but meanwhile I'm contemplating the home schedule this fall, weighing things like the importance of tgat ooener against Miami as a sort of "lynchpin" upon which the whole rest of the season depends (and I REALLY hate "da EW", it's no secret)...but I'm more likely to take my chances, go for something later: Cocktail Party or one of the OTHER pivotal conference games? Homecoming (along with Gator Growl, etc)? What's YOUR thinking here, E?
(By the way, it's early Sat morning and I've got the replay of the UF/LSU game on while doing this... I know we won this and probably sqeeked our way back into a tournament spot with this late clutch-rally (though it'd still be close without one more win, I think)--but what I can't overlook OR get over is how BAD our 3-point-shooting is...and the worst part of that is, White's basic "strategy" (such as it is--I am NOT impressed with this Coach's overall approach to gathering and/or USING talent) seems to ultimately DEPEND upon the constant and repeated return to "hang close-ISH, then rally by driving in, kicking it out over the line for 3-pointers"--only this team as a whole ISN'T particularly CONSISTENT in HITTING them! In general, for a small team they AREN'T great shooters, especially from outside the arc. Ended the reg season by losing 3 straight thanks to that very weakness, and clearly seemed headed for a similar outcome here before (as we know now) finally getting it right and making it work THIS time at the very end: May well have gotten us back into the Dance, but who has any confidence that we'll do any real damage there this time around?)
