Daquon was a 3-star/4-star receiver from Tampa Bay Tech from the class of 2017. His recruiters were Chris Rumph and Kerry Dixon.

That's a shame because I also went to Tampa Bay Tech as well. I was happy a Tech kid was coming there. I wonder if Jefferson and Grimes transferring there hurt his chances of playing there. Best of luck to him and I hope he goes to another program I don't dislike. Also, probably won't see him play until 2020.

In many cases transfer students follow their recruiters. Chris Rumph is a running back coach at Tennessee. Kerry Dixon was recently hired as wide receivers coach with the Ramblin' Wreck of Georgia Tech. If he is willing to sit out a year, and if he can do calculus, he could go to Georgia Tech.

Yeah, I hope he goes there plus Paul Johnson retired so more than likely they wouldn't hire another coach that's an option guy so getting him will boost their Receiving corp though again he'll miss a season. Also, there's Indiana because his high school QB is there now along with another HS teammate.

Can't blame him, he wants to play and can't do that unless he wants for an FCS school which is Murray State. Good luck to him.
