Has anybody read this story from ESPN? It's about a 17 year old high schooler who had consensual oral sex with a 15 year old. Due to some weird law in Georgia he was charged with a felony for it. Wow.

I've heard about oral sex being illegal and someone can be charged with sexual assault on a minor or statutory rape ... it doesn't matter if its consensual or not... the parents can press chargers all day long.

Yeah, but what is so messed up here is that they could have regular sexual intercourse and it would have been completely legal, but yet it's a felony for them to have oral. This is an extremely messed up law and it only applies in Georgia from what I understand. I feel sorry for the guy as his life has been very messed up because of a law that doesn't make sense to begin with.

Yeah, I read that like 2 weeks ago. All I gotta say is its sucks big time for the kid. Just shows are dumb lawmakers are. Ruining a kid's bright future for one bad decision.
