Coughlin signs 1 year extension

I have some family ties to the Giants, so I root for them. I'm glad to see Coughlin sign an extension through 2008. They really were decimated with injuries this year. Coughlin did the best he could with the talent they have.

It will be interesting to see how they do in the post Tiki era.

he's a good coach, but definitely has a short leesh. With how bad the NFC is, I'm sure he'll make the playoffs and earn himself another year. Coughlin has never won the big game though, so I'm not sure how much longer he will hang around.
