Girls Softball advanced to the Super Regionals.
The Gators can add another championship to their ever-expanding list.
The University of Florida softball team edged Texas 3-0 in extra innings on Sunday afternoon to earn the NCAA regional championship.
With the victory, the Gators advance to the Super Regional for the first time in school history. The Gators this weekend will face Texas A&M, winner of the College Station Regional.
