That is very nice of him. The article does say though that the man is known for being an ruthless landlord, so who knows if he'll keep his word for the entire year.

How could someone who is homeless even begin to afford routine bills and maintenance on a big place like this?

that's cool of the guy. but, i'll be interested to see how that works out. it could get kind of complicated.
