Advertising on GatorEnvy.com

Gator Envy is a dedicated Florida Gators website. We have created a strong base of users who are very passionate about their Florida Gators. We have a number of different ways that business owners can reach our members. Below is a list of advertising options that we offer here.

Placement: Rotation on Masthead of every page.

Animation Guidelines
Appearance: No "Gaudy" or distracting ads. We prefer ads that theme into the site well, borders are allowed.
Length: Maximum of 15s MAX
Looping: Leaderboards and Rectangle placements may loop ONCE for a total of 30s MAX
CPU Usage: If a Flash file contains heavy amounts of mathematical computation for elements such as animation, loops, or timers, it will require a much greater percentage of CPU usage. As a result, the Flash file is forced to compete with other Flash files and other applications for CPU usage, which causes all Flash elements on the page to slow down significantly.

Gator Envy reserves the right to reject any advertisement for any reason, including heavy CPU usage.
Framerate (Flash ONLY): 12fps
clickTag (Flash ONLY): For ActionScript 2.0, attach the following code to the instance of your button. This is the recommended method. This code is case sensitive.

Additional Guidelines for Advertising on GatorEnvy.com

  1. Absolutely no adult sites, dating sites or gambling sites of ANY kind.
  2. We do not offer ANY text link advertising.
  3. GatorEnvy.com reserves the right to reject any advertisments for any (or no) apparent reason.
  4. We prefer ads that are geared towards the NCAA and/or the Florida Gators.
  5. No directing our members to phishing sites, or sites that host malware, or do any other evil things to our members.
  6. Are you a local business in or around Gainsville? Ask about our locals discount!
  7. Advertising rates are DOUBLE(maybe TRIPLE) for anything FSU, Auburn or Alabama related.
