The 76th Annual Allstate Sugar Bowl featuring the No. 5 ranked Florida Gators and the No. ranked Cincinnati Bearcats is scheduled for kickoff at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 1, 2010 in the Louisiana Superdome. Tickets are no longer available for purchase through the Gator Ticket Office, but they are still available for purchase online through sites like TicketMaster and StubHub.

Face value for tickets are $125 each – but you can find upper deck end zone seats on StubHub for as low as $90.00 a piece. Tickets in the lower bowl are definitely going to run you a couple hundred bucks. I suggest buying them up before it’s too late.

“We are very much looking forward to the opportunity to host the No. 3 and No. 5 teams in the country, as well as their fans, for the 76th Allstate Sugar Bowl,” Sugar Bowl President Richard R. Smith said. “Florida and Cincinnati have both had great seasons with thrilling games that have gone to the last minute to preserve their place in the Sugar Bowl and we are confident that the 76th chapter in our illustrious history will maintain our tradition of staging the greatest game possible.”

This is going to be a great game and it’s pretty close to our home in Gainesville. If you have the means to purchase tickets and travel to New Orleans, please do so. Go out and support the Gators as they try to cap off a great season.
